Job summary
Advertising.com is looking for a specialist search account manager to join our Strategic Sales Team. This is a sales role with a revenue target attached.
Duties and responsibilities
- To drive the sales of our search product so that we are recognised as one of the top 5 search suppliers in the UK
- To identify potential revenue opportunities for yourself and the general sales team so that we exceed our search product targets
- To actively seek out and close six figure deals with direct clients
- To attend agency pitches with the main sales team
- To work with the main sales team to ensure their market knowledge is up to date
- To work with the search analysts to ensure that our open budget campaigns are optimised and delivering to their full potential
- To monitor competitor activity and developments within the industry that have a potential impact on the company
Essential skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Minimum 3 years search sales experience at a specialist search agency
- Thorough knowledge of the search market, key players and product offerings
- Ability to prospect, present and close new business
- To understand the search requirements of direct advertisers
- Strong presentation skills and ability to present to board level executives
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- A well organized and process driven approach to your book of business
- Great attention to detail
