Client Services Manager, UK Client Services

Overview:

This role represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the world’s largest online advertising network. Part of AOL Time Warner, our growth is such that the correct candidate would have room to realise their potential within a rapidly expanding London based company.

Job Summary:

The Client Services Manager is responsible for the day to day management of our clients and the flawless execution of their campaigns.

The role also involves the management of at least one direct report and requires someone who can motivate, mentor and develop people.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high standards to clients. The client services team are responsible for project managing the campaigns throughout their lifecycle with Advertising.com providing the day to day contact for our advertisers and agencies. This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills who can develop strong relationships both externally, with agencies and clients, and internally with our operations, finance and sales teams

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent service and relationship management to clients and agencies
  • Project manage campaigns negotiating with all parties involved internally and externally to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly from point of contract to billing
  • Motivate and develop at least one direct report
  • Work with Head of Client Services and members of Operations and sales to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of campaigns and to generate growth of advertisers
  • Ensure client retention is maximised by delivering custom tailored service to advertisers and making sure their objectives and expectations are met.
  • Committed to learning how to use all internal systems and tools required to execute a campaign and to maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of those systems over time
  • Influence new technology, processes and solutions to improve work flows seeking involvement in all relevant stages from scoping, requirements gathering, testing and implementation
  • Develop and maintain necessary technical knowledge to be the clients point of contact for troubleshooting
  • Communicate with the client/agency on campaign delivery and performance supported by the generation and delivery of regular reports
  • Work with members of the operations team to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of campaigns and to generate growth of advertisers
  • Be the internal owner of all assigned campaigns and be fully informed and able to provide information when required, to include metrics, objectives and status
  • Committed to the provision of accurate data to feed into internal reporting and allow for high level of visibility and understanding of our business
  • Compile business projections, forecasts and other summary reports to satisfy European Management requirements
  • Proactively seek to advance knowledge of Advertising.com’s entire web, video, search and affiliate opportunities.

  • Numerate with a good level of knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A level of higher education including a degree or HND or vocational qualification desired.
  • Commercial/Public Sector experience highly valuable, particularly someone working in an office where they have experience of administrative process, finance or technical duties.
